Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 35 and 55 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with breast cancer in one breast only (confirmed by a tissue sample)
  • You had breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy, where only the tumor is removed, not the whole breast)
  • You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy over about 3 weeks (15–16 treatment sessions)
  • You have no history of previous radiation to the same breast or chest area
  • You do not have active skin infections, open wounds, or chronic skin conditions (like eczema or psoriasis) on your breast
