Who can take part

  • You are an adult mother who has given informed consent and consent for your newborn to participate
  • Your baby was born at term (between 37–42 weeks of pregnancy) with a healthy birth weight (over 2,500 grams) and good Apgar scores (above 7)
  • You are currently breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed
  • You do not have any infectious diseases (such as HIV or hepatitis) or serious medical conditions requiring special supervision
  • You have a normal sense of smell with no chronic or current nasal congestion from infection or allergies
  • You are not taking medications that affect body odor, do not smoke, and are not under legal or judicial protective measures
