Who can take part

  • Your sample must be a lesion swab stored in VTM or UTM (special liquid preservation) that hasn't been heat-treated
  • You have enough sample volume (at least 2,600 microliters) to run multiple tests
  • Your sample was already tested and confirmed as either mpox-positive or mpox-negative
  • Your sample was collected in 2020 or later
  • Your sample hasn't been frozen and thawed more than 3 times
  • Your sample was collected using non-expired swabs and fresh preservation liquid
