Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have thick, raised burn scars that are more than 2 years old on your chest or arms/legs
  • You have at least two separate scar areas (each 6 cm x 6 cm) that are at least 2 cm apart
  • You can understand the study information and follow instructions
  • You have not had steroid injections or creams on your scars in the past year
  • You have not had scar surgery in the affected areas within the past year
