Who can take part

  • You must be healthy overall with no serious medical conditions, allergies to growth factors, or history of low blood sugar
  • You must be between 18 and 60 years old, weigh at least 50 kg (men) or 45 kg (women), and have a normal BMI (roughly 19–28)
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to conceive in the next 3 months; must use contraception if of childbearing age
  • You must pass all screening tests: blood work, heart rhythm (ECG), chest X-ray, and tests for infections like HIV and hepatitis
  • You cannot smoke, drink heavily, use recreational drugs, or take most medications (including vitamins and herbal supplements) during the study
  • You must commit to attending all study visits, have accessible veins for blood draws, and no visible skin issues (tattoos, scars, sunburn) at the injection site
