- You are at least 18 years old and have a loop ileostomy (a surgically created opening) from previous colorectal surgery
- Recent imaging (barium enema) confirms your bowel has no leaks or narrowing that would prevent reversal

- You live within 50 km (about 30 miles) of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona
- You have home support available after surgery from family or a healthcare worker
- You are able to understand and consent to participate in the study
