Pelvic Floor Exercises for Uterine Prolapse

This study tests whether special pelvic floor exercises can help reduce uterine prolapse (when the uterus drops into the vagina). You would do two types of exercises—pelvic floor strengthening and core stability work—to see if they improve your symptoms.

Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 30–60 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with stage I or II uterine prolapse (mild to moderate dropping of the uterus)
  • You have given birth vaginally at least once
  • You have not had pelvic surgery in the past 6 months
  • You are not currently pregnant or within 6 months of giving birth
  • You have not done pelvic floor physical therapy in the past 6 months
