Who can take part
- Age 18 or older
- Bladder stone larger than 2 cm, confirmed by imaging (CT, ultrasound, or X-ray)
- Scheduled for transurethral cystolithotripsy (a procedure using a camera to remove bladder stones)
- Urine culture is sterile or any urinary tract infection is treated and cleared
- Able to safely receive spinal or general anesthesia
- Able to read, understand, and sign an informed consent form
