Effects of forehead nerve stimulation on brain and heart

This study tests how gentle electrical stimulation on your forehead (like a tiny healing patch) affects brain waves and heart rate in healthy people.   • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You are right-handed.
  • You are generally healthy with no history of brain, nerve, or heart conditions.
  • You have no metal in your body (like a pacemaker or braces) and are not claustrophobic.
  • You are not pregnant and are not taking medications that affect your brain or heart rate.
  • You avoid heavy smoking, alcohol, or drug use and have regular sleep patterns.
