Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a kidney stone between 1 and 3 cm (about the size of a pea to a grape) seen on a CT scan.
- Your urologist has recommended a procedure called flexible ureteroscopy (a scope through the bladder to the kidney) to remove the stone.
- You do not have an active urinary tract infection, a blockage in the tube draining the kidney, or a bleeding problem.
- You are not pregnant and can have a CT scan 1 and 3 months after the procedure to check results.
