Who can take part
- You have a single liver tumor (hepatocellular carcinoma) that has not been treated before.
- You are age 18 or older.
- You are fully active or able to do light work (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your liver and kidney function are within acceptable ranges (your doctor will check blood tests).
- You are not allergic to nitroglycerin and not taking certain medications like Viagra, nitrates, or Avastin.
- You agree to use effective birth control if needed.
