  • You have a keloid scar (a raised scar that grows beyond the original wound).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are scheduled for surgery to treat your keloid at the study hospital.
  • You agree to be part of the study and sign a consent form.
  • You have not used any keloid treatments like steroid shots, cryotherapy, creams, or silicone sheets in the last 6 weeks.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
