  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are currently in the adult intensive care unit at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires.
  • A test from your rectum has found a type of bacteria that is resistant to carbapenem antibiotics.
  • You have stayed in the same ICU room for at least 48 hours.
