Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You had surgery on your stomach or pancreas within the last 2 to 6 months (for stomach surgery) or 3 to 6 months (for pancreas surgery).
- If you had cancer, it was stage I or II at the time of surgery, and you have not had chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments recently (within 28 days).
- You have symptoms of poor digestion, like diarrhea or greasy stools, and a low quality-of-life score due to these symptoms.
- You are not taking other digestive enzyme pills during the study.
- You do not have severe stomach emptying problems, active bowel disease, or serious liver disease.
