This study looks at how exercise intensity affects body temperature in healthy children and young adults. Participants will exercise and may need to swallow a small pill that measures body temperature from inside.

Who can take part

  • You must be male.
  • You must be between 9 and 16 years old, or between 20 and 25 years old.
  • You must be physically active at least 3 times a week for 20 minutes or longer.
  • You must be able to speak and understand English or French.
  • You must not have any chronic health conditions (like asthma, heart disease, or diabetes) or take medications that affect heart or body temperature.
  • You must not have a history of heat-related illness (e.g., heat exhaustion or heat stroke).
