This study looks at whether holding your baby skin-to-skin right after birth can help reduce your pain, improve your satisfaction with the birth, and affect your vital signs. If you had a healthy, full-term pregnancy and a vaginal birth without pain medication, you may be able to join.

This study tests whether combining breathing exercises with listening to music during labor can help first-time mothers feel less pain, have more positive expectations, and feel more satisfied with their birth experience. If you join, you will practice breathing techniques and listen to music while in labor.

This study tests a partner-assisted rebozo technique — a gentle way to help ease pain and fear during labor. Your partner wraps a scarf around your belly and sways it rhythmically, with guidance from a nurse, to make you more comfortable.
