Numbing medicines for pain after childbirth with a cut
This trial tests two numbing medicines (lidocaine and bupivacaine) to see which works better for pain after a cut (episiotomy) during childbirth. If you are having your first baby and deliver vaginally with an episiotomy, you may be able to join and receive a local injection for pain relief.
