This trial compares two ways of giving oxygen during a heart surgery that uses small chest cuts. One method is a face mask, the other is a high-flow nasal tube. The study will see which keeps your oxygen levels better while you are awake but relaxed.

This trial compares two ways of helping you breathe during lung surgery to see which one keeps your oxygen levels more stable. You will be randomly assigned to breathe either normally or with a special mode during the one-lung part of the surgery.

This trial tests whether high-flow oxygen therapy can prevent low oxygen levels in patients at risk during a digestive endoscopy with deep sedation. It might help if you have obesity, stable lung or heart disease, or sleep apnea.
