RLS-0071 for newborns with moderate or severe HIE
This trial studies whether RLS-0071 is safe and can help some newborns with moderate or severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), a brain injury caused by low oxygen around birth. Babies in the study also receive standard whole-body cooling (therapeutic hypothermia), and the researchers will watch for side effects and early signs of benefit.

Metformin for infants after brain injury from HIE
This trial tests whether metformin, a common diabetes medicine, can help heal brain injury in infants who had HIE (lack of oxygen at birth) and were treated with cooling. It aims to see if the drug is safe and possible to give to babies between 3 and 6 months old.
