New treatment for advanced lung cancer that has stopped responding to immunotherapy
This trial tests a new investigational medicine (aglatimagene besadenovec) plus pembrolizumab against standard chemotherapy (docetaxel) for people with stage IV non-squamous lung cancer that has stopped responding to pembrolizumab. The new treatment is given as a tumor injection (like a biopsy) along with a pill (prodrug) and an infusion of pembrolizumab. The goal is to see if it can re-engage the immune system to fight the cancer.
