This study uses imaging (an exam plus ultrasound and MRI) to help understand causes of pain between the toes, such as a small pad inflammation or nerve irritation (Morton’s neuroma). It may help researchers better match imaging findings to the likely cause of your symptoms.

Cryoablation vs steroid injection for Morton’s neuroma pain
This trial compares two ways to treat Morton’s neuroma pain: freezing treatment (cryoablation) versus steroid plus lidocaine injections. It may help people who didn’t improve after trying basic shoe inserts or padding, by seeing which approach works better for symptoms.
