Who can take part
- You’re over 18 years old
- You have pain between the metatarsal spaces (in the front of the foot, between the toes)
- You do not have an open sore or active infection in the forefoot during the scan
- You can safely have an MRI scan (no MRI safety reasons to avoid it)
- You have not had major injury, fractures, or surgery in the forefoot
- You have not had Morton's neuroma treatment in the same foot recently (no injection in the last 6 months, no surgery at any time)
- Your kidney function is not severely reduced (GFR 30 or higher)
- You do not have a whole-body inflammatory disease such as rheumatoid arthritis
