Coated balloon for non-cancerous airway narrowing
This trial tests a special balloon coated with a medicine (paclitaxel) to open narrowed windpipes. It is for people whose windpipe is blocked by scar tissue from a ventilator, transplant, or other non-cancer causes, not from cancer.

This study uses a small piece of tissue from your windpipe to look at the genes and cells that cause benign (non-cancerous) tracheal stenosis. It aims to understand why the narrowing happens, which could lead to better treatments.

Steroid injections to prevent tracheal narrowing from coming back
This trial tests if steroid injections into the windpipe can prevent narrowing from returning in people with idiopathic subglottic stenosis (a rare condition where the windpipe narrows for unknown reasons). If you have this condition and haven't had this type of treatment before, you may be able to join.
