This study tests whether sotagliflozin (a pill that helps control blood sugar and protects the kidneys) can slow down kidney function decline in people with type 1 diabetes and diabetic kidney disease. You may qualify if you have had type 1 diabetes for at least 8 years, have moderate kidney damage, and are on standard treatments.

This Phase 2 study tests semaglutide (a diabetes and weight-related medicine) to see if it can slow or improve diabetic kidney disease in people with type 1 diabetes. You may be able to join if you have type 1 diabetes for at least 5 years and ongoing signs of kidney damage measured in urine tests.
