Do family voices affect brain chemistry and pain in ICU patients?
This study tests whether hearing a family member's voice can change natural brain chemicals (dopamine and serotonin) and reduce pain for people in the intensive care unit who are in a coma but can still react. It may help improve comfort during recovery.
