Elagolix versus birth control pills for endometriosis pain
This study compares two medications—elagolix (a newer hormone treatment) and birth control pills—to see which works better at reducing pelvic pain caused by endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often causing painful periods.
