Ciprofol for blood pressure stability in older adults on heart medications
This study tests whether ciprofol, a newer sedative, can help prevent low blood pressure during surgery in older patients who are already taking medications for high blood pressure or heart failure (called RAS inhibitors). It may be a good option if you're 65 or older, on these medications for more than 3 months, and having abdominal surgery lasting over 2 hours.
