Who can take part
- Your child has confirmed toxoplasmosis (a parasitic infection) diagnosed before age 2.5 months, OR you are pregnant with confirmed toxoplasma infection
- If your child is over 1 year old, they have never been treated for this infection (or had less than 1 month of treatment)
- Your child has no symptoms, or symptoms were found early during pregnancy through amniocentesis (a test of fluid around the baby)
- You are willing to give your child three medications by mouth or IV for the study period
