Retinal photo imaging for inherited eye conditions

Retinitis Pigmentosa

Part of Eyes & vision, Genetic & congenital clinical trials.

This study uses special pictures of the back of your eye (retinal imaging) in people with inherited retinal degeneration. It may help researchers learn how these conditions look and change over time, and it can be a way for you to receive detailed eye imaging.

NCT01866371Recruiting
High-detail eye scans for children and adults

This study tests a high-resolution imaging method that takes very detailed pictures of the retina (the light-sensing layer at the back of the eye). You might benefit by getting your eye health checked in a structured imaging study—if you’re able to comfortably complete the scan.

NCT04129021Recruiting
Eye imaging test with fast detailed scans

This trial studies whether a new, very high-resolution and high-speed eye scan can be used for people with eye problems or for healthy volunteers. It may help doctors better “see” eye structures more clearly to guide care.

Ganglion Cell Loss Study in Retinitis Pigmentosa

This study looks at whether a type of retinal cell (ganglion cells) degenerates in people with retinitis pigmentosa. The goal is to learn more about the progression of the disease over time.

NCT07502664Recruiting
A study on vision and navigation in inherited retinal disease

This study is looking at how people with inherited retinal disease that affects peripheral vision see and move around. It will test a new way to measure vision and navigation to see if it can help doctors understand how the disease affects daily life.

NCT05355415Recruiting
Eye imaging study for outer retina diseases using adaptive optics

This study uses a special, high-detail eye imaging machine to take clear pictures of the outer retina. It may help researchers understand these eye conditions better, and how the eye images look when people have an outer retinal disease.

NCT06375239Recruiting
Study of tests for tracking vision in retinal disease

This study will check if certain vision tests work well in people with retinal diseases like retinitis pigmentosa or Stargardt. Results will help design future trials.
