Who can take part

  • You must be over age 2 when you join the study
  • In the last 6 months, you took a medicine or supplement (CAM) and then developed liver injury
  • You (or your legal guardian) can sign informed consent to join
  • Your blood tests must show clinically important liver injury on repeat testing (often high ALT/AST or high alkaline phosphatase, or certain patterns with bilirubin or blood clotting)
  • Your liver injury is not clearly from an alternative cause like reduced liver blood flow (ischemia)
