Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with IC/BPS (bladder pain syndrome)
  • You have symptoms such as frequent urination (more than 1 time per hour) and/or burning with urination and/or pelvic/lower belly pain lasting 3 months or longer
  • You may also have symptoms like needing to urinate at night (nocturia)
  • Your urine tests for the last 3 months do not suggest an active bacterial UTI (no white blood cells in urine and urine culture is negative)
  • You have a normal-feeling urine stream (not weak or blocked by history)
  • A close family member (parent, sibling, or child) also has similar symptoms
