Who can take part
- You must meet the standard unrelated stem-cell donor rules used by the donor organization
- A pregnancy test must be done within 15 days before filgrastim starts (more than one test may be needed)
- You must not be pregnant, and if breastfeeding you must be able to stop breastfeeding during filgrastim and for 2 days after the last dose
- You must not have an allergy or sensitivity to filgrastim or similar lab-made protein medicines from E. coli
- You must not have certain immune/autoimmune conditions, unless your thyroid condition was successfully treated
- You must not have blood clot history (deep vein thrombosis or lung clot) or low platelets before starting
