- You have been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- You receive regular IBD care and follow-up at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center
- If you are a family member: you have a close relative with IBD
- If you are a comparison group participant: you have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- You must be at least 18 years old and not pregnant
