Who can take part
- You received VIGIV that was sent from the US Strategic National Stockpile
- Your problem is one of these: eczema vaccinatum, progressive vaccinia, or severe generalized vaccinia
- Or you have a vaccinia infection in a higher-risk place (like the eyes, mouth, or other areas where it could be dangerous)
- Or you have vaccinia affecting skin already vulnerable from conditions like burns, impetigo, chickenpox (varicella-zoster), or poison ivy
- You (or your legal guardian/representative) can sign consent; if you’re a minor, the guardian signs and the child should also assent when appropriate
