This study uses brain and muscle activity recordings while you do simple repeated movements. It may help researchers understand how brains work during movement in people with certain childhood injuries that affect walking and arm/leg control.

Who can take part
- Be age 5 or older
- Have a childhood-onset brain or nerve (peripheral) injury before age 13 causing movement or feeling problems
- Have been away from surgery on an arm or leg for at least 6 months, and away from botulinum toxin shots for at least 4 months
- Be able to walk at least 20 feet (with or without a walking aid) without stopping
- Be able to understand and follow simple instructions for starting/stopping repetitive tasks
- For testing sessions: avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours beforehand (training sessions may be different)
