Who can take part

  • Be an adult older than 75 years
  • You must not have a known allergy to eggs or to a flu vaccine
  • You should not have active cancer
  • You should not currently be on cancer treatments like chemotherapy or radiation
  • You should not have certain active immune/inflammatory conditions (like rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s, or ulcerative colitis)
  • You should not be using immune-changing medicines, such as oral steroids (prednisone) or drugs like methotrexate
