Who can take part
- You have prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy (adenocarcinoma).
- You can attend study visits at UCSF and follow the MRI/scan and biopsy/surgery schedule.
- You must be able to have MRI, including having no MRI safety issues (like certain pacemakers or metal clips).
- You must be able to tolerate the MRI prostate setup (an endorectal coil), unless the study doctor says it isn’t needed for you.
- Your overall health is good enough for study testing (ECOG 0 or 1).
