Who can take part
- You have a pancreatic cystic lesion, or acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, or a rare congenital (born-with) pancreas condition.
- You may have one diagnosis or a combination of these.
- You can sign written consent to have extra blood drawn for research.
- If you have pancreatic cysts, you must be willing to consent to collection of any extra cyst fluid remaining after routine testing.
- If you are having surgery (for any of the listed pancreas conditions), you must consent to research use of any leftover surgical tissue specimen.
- You generally must not have another active cancer in a different organ (or a past history of such) and must be able to consent and return for follow-up.
