Studies how babies use energy using special water
Part of Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.
This study measures how healthy full-term infants use energy in their bodies by having them drink a special kind of water. It may help researchers better understand infant growth and metabolism, especially how feeding affects energy use.

This trial looks at how early feeding (breastmilk or formula) affects an infant's immune system and health. Researchers will collect samples and health information from mothers and their babies over time.
This study builds a shared database about early baby nutrition and health markers. It may help researchers find early “signals” in babies that relate to growth and development, which could guide future care.
This study looks at very young babies to understand early signs of obesity risk. If your baby is under 4 months old and mainly drinks breastmilk, they may help researchers learn more about how body growth and feeding relate to health later in life.
This study looks at how infants use energy and how “brown fat” (a type of body fat that can burn energy) develops. It involves MRI scans and short clinic visits, which may help researchers better understand early growth and metabolism.
This study tests a new infant formula to see how healthy babies grow and develop. If your baby is healthy, full-term, and formula-fed, they may be able to join.
This study tests different bottle nipples to see which flow rate helps babies feed best. It is for healthy babies who are 4 to 6 months old and get at least one bottle feeding a week.
