Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You have liver cancer (HCC) that came back after a previous curative liver surgery
- Your recurrent tumor is small and limited: either one spot up to 3 cm, or up to 3 spots each up to 3 cm
- The spot is in specific liver areas (left outer part/segments II–III) or very near the liver surface edge (within 1 cm)
- Scans do not show spread into major liver veins/portal vein branches or outside the liver
- Your liver function is in a good range (Child-Pugh class A or B)
