- You have been diagnosed with soft-tissue sarcoma confirmed by pathology
- You can provide stored frozen tumor tissue or agree to a research biopsy
- Your cancer has not spread to distant organs (not metastatic)
- You are 18 or older and can do normal activities most of the time (ECOG 0–1)
- Your doctors plan neoadjuvant anthracycline-based chemotherapy before surgery
