Progesterone for some preterm preeclampsia pregnancies

Who can take part

  • You are currently between 23 weeks 0 days and 34 weeks 0 days pregnant when you first join
  • Your pregnancy has preeclampsia that is being monitored and managed without urgent delivery (expectantly managed)
  • You are able and willing to understand the study and sign informed consent
  • You are not beyond 33 weeks pregnant when you join
  • You do not need emergency delivery right now due to serious mother complications (like bleeding from placental abruption, breathing fluid buildup in lungs, or very severe clotting problems)
  • You do not have urgent baby distress symptoms that would require immediate delivery (such as concerning fetal heart rate patterns or no fetal heart rate variability)
