Who can take part

  • You are pregnant with one baby
  • You are between 24 weeks 0 days and 29 weeks 6 days pregnant
  • You have severe early-onset preeclampsia (very high blood pressure before 30 weeks) or the baby is not growing well with abnormal blood flow in the umbilical cord
  • Your doctor has decided it is safe to wait and not deliver immediately
  • You are not already taking a statin medication
  • You do not have lactose intolerance
