Who can take part

  • Your eyeglass prescription for near-sightedness has been stable for at least 1 year (within 0.5 diopters)
  • Your vision with glasses is 20/40 or better
  • Your eye’s cornea (front clear window) is clear in the center
  • Your near-sightedness is between about -0.5 and -18 diopters
  • Your cornea cell count is healthy (endothelial cell density above 2000 cells per square mm)
