Who can take part

  • You were treated with high-dose-rate brachy radiation for localized prostate cancer, and the cancer came back locally on biopsy.
  • You are over 18 years old and your prostate size is under 50 cubic centimeters.
  • You are not able to have surgery or curative (attempt-to-cure) radiation anymore.
  • Your general health is good enough (ECOG 0 or 1) and you have enough time expected (at least 8 months in Phase 1, 12 months in Phase 2).
  • Your blood counts, kidney function, and liver blood tests must meet lab thresholds.
  • You must be able and willing to give informed consent and follow study visits.
