Who can take part

  • Be age 18 to 80
  • Have a smartphone and be able to use the study app (or have a close person who can)
  • Have high blood pressure that is not well controlled (office BP at least 140/90 and 24-hour heart-monitor BP at least 130/80)
  • Your blood pressure must not be extremely high (not 200/120 or higher despite treatment)
  • You should not have certain major health issues (including kidney function too low, known atrial fibrillation, major liver problems, or a recent cancer)
