  • You have painful knee arthritis and need a first (primary) total knee replacement
  • Your age is 21 to 80
  • Your knee alignment is described as “varus” (bow-legged), not “valgus” (knock-kneed)
  • You can understand and sign consent and can do required check-ins and self-check surveys
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 45 or less
  • You are not currently pregnant
