GD2 CAR plus IL-15 modified cells for children with neuroblastoma

Neuroblastoma

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This early-phase trial tests an immune-cell treatment made from the child’s own cells, designed to attack neuroblastoma. It aims to help children whose cancer has come back or did not respond to standard treatment.

Who can take part

  • Be 2 to 20 years old, and have relapsed or refractory high-risk neuroblastoma
  • Have enough energy/health (Karnofsky/Lansky score at least 60%) and life expectancy of at least 12 weeks
  • Be able to undergo apheresis to collect white blood cells (or have it completed for treatment)
  • Have blood counts that meet minimum levels (ANC at least 500 and platelets at least 20,000; platelet transfusions are allowed)
  • Have lungs and organs working well enough (oxygen at least 90% on room air; liver and kidney tests not too high)
  • Have a negative TB blood test (QuantiFERON-TB or T-SPOT) within the last 3 months

NK cells plus GD2 antibody for high-risk neuroblastoma

This trial tests whether combining your child's own immune cells (NK cells) with a targeted antibody (GD2) can help treat high-risk neuroblastoma. It is for children who are in the maintenance phase, or whose cancer has returned or not responded to standard treatment.

NCT06684639Recruiting· Early Phase 1
GD2-targeted CAR T cells for neuroblastoma

This trial tests a special immune cell treatment (GD2-CAR T cells) for children and teens with neuroblastoma that has come back or not responded to standard therapy. It aims to see if these engineered cells can find and attack the cancer.

NCT06071897Recruiting· Phase 3
Chemo-immunotherapy for high-risk neuroblastoma

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy as a first treatment for children and young adults with high-risk neuroblastoma. The goal is to see if this approach can improve outcomes.

NCT03721068Recruiting· Phase 1
CAR T-cell treatment for hard-to-treat childhood tumors

This Phase 1 study tests an experimental CAR T-cell treatment that targets GD2, with added immune-boosting and safety features, for children with relapsed or refractory neuroblastoma or osteosarcoma. It’s designed to see if the treatment is safe and can shrink these cancers when standard therapy hasn’t worked.

CAR-T therapy for neuroblastoma targeting three markers

This trial tests a personalized CAR-T cell therapy that targets three specific markers (GD2, PSMA, and CD276) on neuroblastoma cells. It is for patients whose cancer has come back or not responded to standard treatment.

NCT06631391Recruiting· Phase 1
NK cell therapy for high-risk neuroblastoma in children

This trial tests a new natural killer (NK) cell therapy from donated umbilical cord blood for children with high-risk neuroblastoma that has come back or not responded to treatment. The goal is to see if this immune cell therapy is safe and can help fight the cancer.
