PET imaging test to plan personalized prostate cancer treatment

Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and under 75 (different groups use different age limits)
  • You have confirmed prostate cancer from a biopsy (proven by pathology)
  • You must be scheduled for radical prostatectomy with extended lymph node removal (for the surgery group)
  • For the relapse group: your PSA has risen twice after prior prostate treatment, and you can do study visits (WHO performance 0–1)
  • You must not have signs of pelvic lymph node involvement on MRI (for the surgery group) or bone spread on scan (if PSA is high)
  • You must not have certain hormone/medication issues, recent PSA-altering drugs, or difficulty understanding consent
