  • You are an adult living in the community who can give consent
  • You currently need a flu shot as part of standard care
  • You do not have a fever or another illness at the time of vaccination
  • You are not being treated for active cancer
  • You are not taking medicines that weaken your immune system
  • You have not had a flu shot in the last 6 months and you have no past allergy to it
